Awkwafina
Awkwafina started out as a American musician and rapper performing sly tunes that dealt with questions of race and sexual identities with a funny twist. Before expanding into Hollywood, she could release a number of songs. Nora Lum, born in Forest Hills Queens to Chinese and Korean immigrants was her first musical experience. She played the trumpet. Then, she started hip-hop and classical training. When she was in college, she concentrated on her studies. She studied women's studies as well as journalism. For a brief period during her time in Beijing, Mandarin language classes were offered as well. Her focus shifted to music once she graduated. The song My Vag, a response track to the Mickey Avalon's My Dick gained viral popularity via the Internet in 2012. The track was later included on the album debut Yellow Ranger released in 2014. It also included other viral hits like the body-positive Queef as well as the cheeky hometown tour NYC BitcheUSD. The track that was second on the album linked to Awkwafina's NYC Travel Guide that was published in the year 2015, and was an additional initiative. She decided to pursue a career as an actor following the completion of her previous two ventures as a musician and author. In addition to early shows like Girl Code and Tawk she was also in films like Neighbors 2, Storks and Bad Rap. In the year 2018 she got a series of notable performances, which included Dude Ocean 8 and Crazy Rich Asians. In June she dropped her new EP "In Fina We Trust".
