Kristen Anne Bell was born in the year 1980. She is an American singer and actress. She was born in Huntington Woods and raised there. Bell is the daughter of Lorelei Frygier as well as Tom Bell. Her family ancestry includes Polish (mother) and German, English, Irish, and Scottish (father). Kristen found her talent in entertainment at an early stage of her life. She was cast in the role of Raggedy Ann in 1992 after going to the first audition. Bell's mom enrolled her with an agency just before turning 13 years old. She later appeared on television commercials as well as newspaper advertisements. Also, she began private acting classes around the age of 13. Bell was credited with a minor role as a character in Polish Wedding (1998) in 1998. Bell attended Shrine Catholic High School where she took part in musical as well as drama. The school's stage production The Wizard of Oz, Bell was chosen to play Dorothy. Bell was a student of musical theatre at the highly regarded Tisch School of the Arts located in New York City after graduating. Bell dropped out of studying in the year 2001, and began playing Becky the character of Tom Sawyer. Also in 2001 that Bell's first appearance in a film that was credited to her, Pootie Tang (2002). The scene she appeared in has been cut out and only the credits show her. Bell made an appearance with Angela Bettis and Liam Neeson in 2002's Broadway revival of The Crucible.
