Golf like other ball games, does not have a conventional playing field. It is vital to be able to cope with different terrains and play on different courses. A course usually has 18 to nine holes. These are the areas of terrain that contain cups, which mark the hole in which the ball will be received. Teeing areas are utilized to start a hole while a cup holds the cup. There are various types of terrain that lie between the green and the tee, including the fairway and rough (high grass) and other hazards like the bunters filled with sand. Each hole is unique and has its own layout. The stroke play format is the most frequently played form at all levels, and especially at the highest level.
